Rock breaker redesign

Timeframe: February – June 2009
Challenge: Deacon Engineers carried out a redesign current rock breaker to have an extended reach and modify mountings to suit new hammer and swivel motor. We prepared 3D Digital prototype model and created manufacturing detail drawings to Alcoa drawing standards.
Services: Design, FE Analysis, 3D Digital prototyping and detail drafting
Solution: Detail manufacturing drawings and a design report were produced of the new design.
