Challenge: Our client required the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of an access platform and ladder system. This included a man-cage because they needed access to air relief tubes in the lower level outlet. Our challenge was to design and install the system but due to the limited space available and the limitation of the equipment access to the area was difficult.
Services: Deacon Engineers carried out both FEA and Design Engineering services. Deacon liaised closely with contractors for the manufacturing and installation portion of the works.
Solution: Access was  limited but Deacon Engineers was able to design an access platform, ladder and monorail system to fit into the limited space available in the lower level outlet. We were onsite to provide instruction during the commissioning of the hoist and man cage.
